《瓦尔登湖》(Walden)是亨利·大卫·梭罗(Henry David Thoreau)经典文学作品,已经成为美国文学宝库中的经典之作。中国译者徐迟首先将其译入国内,译名为《瓦尔登湖》。此后不断出现译者和译本,《瓦尔登湖》一度重译,频繁出版。进入21世纪以来,我国出现了重译《瓦尔登湖》的热潮,这也引起了学术界和翻译界对《瓦尔登湖》汉译本的关注。通过将徐迟译本作为研究对象,从翻译美学新视角切入,对《瓦尔登湖》译文之美进行解构,分析其中作为变量的美学因子,以期为研究《瓦尔登湖》做出一点贡献。  相似文献

This study draws on survey data from 205 family mediation service users concerning their satisfaction with the outcomes of mediation to address two research questions: (a) how satisfied are service users? and (b) what factors account for users' satisfaction with the outcome of child custody arrangements and the allocation of finances and property? Overall, users' level of satisfaction with outcomes was high. While the mediation process explained a significant variance in satisfaction with the outcomes for child custody and for finances and property, the mediator's perceived professional competence did not predict user satisfaction with the outcomes for either issue. This study contributes to our knowledge on the significance of mediators' process skill, specifically their calm and clear responses to the socioemotional needs of the mediated parties, on the service outcomes for both types of dispute. Problem

Research suggests that the skill and experience of the attendant significantly affect the outcomes of vaginal breech births, yet practitioner experience levels are minimal within many contemporary maternity care systems.

Background

Due to minimal experience and cultural resistance, few practitioners offer vaginal breech birth, and many practice guidelines and training programmes recommend delivery techniques requiring supine maternal position. Fewer practitioners have skills to support physiological breech birth, involving active maternal movement and choice of birthing position, including upright postures such as kneeling, standing, squatting, or on a birth stool. How professionals learn complex skills contrary to those taught in their local practice settings is unclear.

Question

How do professionals develop competence and expertise in physiological breech birth?

Methods

Nine midwives and five obstetricians with experience facilitating upright physiological breech births participated in semi-structured interviews. Data were analysed iteratively using constructivist grounded theory methods to develop an empirical theory of physiological breech skill acquisition.

Results

Among the participants in this research, the deliberate acquisition of competence in physiological breech birth included stages of affinity with physiological birth, critical awareness, intention, identity and responsibility. Expert practitioners operating across local and national boundaries guided less experienced practitioners.

Discussion

The results depict a specialist learning model which could be formalised in sympathetic training programmes, and evaluated. It may also be relevant to developing competence in other specialist/expert roles and innovative practices.

Conclusion

Deliberate development of local communities of practice may support professionals to acquire elusive breech skills in a sustainable way.  相似文献

It is expected that both children and their parents contribute to children's development of emotion knowledge and adjustment. Bidirectional relations between child temperament (fear, frustration, executive control) and mothers' reactions to children's emotional experiences were examined to explore how these variables predict children's emotion understanding, social competence, and problem behaviors. Preschool‐aged children (N = 306) and their mothers were assessed across four‐time points. Children's temperament and mothers' non‐supportive reactions to children's emotional experiences were assessed when children were 36 and 45 months of age. Emotion understanding was assessed when the children were 54 months of age and teachers reported on children's problem behaviors and social competence when the children were 63 months of age. Covariates included family income, child cognitive ability, gender, and child adjustment at 36 months. Results from path analyses demonstrated that bidirectional relations between children's temperament and mothers' non‐supportive reactions were not significant. However, mother's non‐supportive reactions directly predicted fewer problem behaviors, and children's emotion understanding mediated the relation between children's executive control and their later social competence. As such, emotion understanding appears to be one mechanism through which executive control might impact social competence.  相似文献

本体诗歌翻译理论主要探讨译文与原文在形式与内容上的关系。译文与原文应该达到形似还是神似,译者应该求真还是求美,这是翻译界一直争论的话题。按照“形似与神似,求真与求美”的关系来分析江枫先生对艾米莉·狄金森的两首诗歌“暴风雨夜”和“篱笆那边”的翻译,可以看出,标点符号、遣词、诗歌的韵式和诗人的创作风格等方面体现了江枫译文的特点和风格:译文选词简单但富有张力,行文简约而内敛,与原诗风格颇似;但由于过于追求简约而稍显生硬和晦涩。总之,江枫的译文是形似与神似结合的典范,体现其“形似而后神似”的主张以及“简约而忠实”的风格,但并未完全实现“求真与求美”的完美结合。  相似文献
